The Shuswap Hospice Society supports those who are dealing with death, diagnosis and grief along with the associated emotional realities of that process. We provide compassionate care to those living with a life-limiting illness, as well as grief and bereavement support to the families and friends of those who have lost loved ones, caregivers, and anyone impacted by diagnosis or loss.
Our services are provided free to anyone who needs them. No referrals are needed! We focus on the individual needs of each person as they contact us, and our Volunteer Program Coordinator conducts an intake assessment to determine the best support possible.
Our Support Groups, Programs, and Services are constantly changing to reflect the needs of the community. Please CALL 250-832-7099.
Wig Room
Shuswap Hospice Society is proud to have taken over the wig and breast prosthesis lending bank when the Canadian Cancer Society unit closed in Salmon Arm. We have an assortment of wigs, prosthesis and other resource materials available to help clients in their cancer journey.
