Compassionate Care

Respite and compassion provided by volunteers to people living with a terminal illness in the hospital, home or any facility chosen by the client. Standard electric hospital beds can be rented for home use.

Free Counselling Program

One on One Bereavement Support
Clients meet one on one with a staff person of Shuswap Hospice Society to talk about their grief and receive some coping skills.

New Beginnings
A starting point for bereaved individuals who wish to socialize. A monthly Pot Luck lunch will be held. Call 832-7099 for more information and dates.

Young Widows – Support Group
A six week support program for young widows. Participate, share and learn from others who are facing the same losses while raising a family.
